All About Registration!

What do you need to know before registration opens up for #DEBDAL17?

Here are some of our best practices: 


Register on a desktop computer!  Our registration system doesn't work well on smart phones or iPads. 

Use Firefox or Chrome as a browser. These are the tried and true browsers for our registration page. Make sure to download these browsers ahead of time and try them out BEFORE registration.

Our preferred method of payment is PayPal. I'm telling you mes amis...sign up for a PayPal account today. You can use your checking account or a credit card, but if you have this done ahead of time, and test it on something small (like buying a cool white mask on Etsy?), you should sail through payment without any issues. Take the risk out of your card not working- register using your PayPal account. If using a credit or debit card, have multiple payment types ready. The platform is picky and does not like all cards!

Don't wait! Do not procrastinate register as soon as possible once registration opens! Registration in all phases is first come, first serve.

Know your rendezvous point!  Have a 1st choice AND a backup rendezvous point choice.  There are no guarantees that your preferred location will be available when you register.

Want to sit with friends? If you plan on attending with friends and want to sit together you MUST pick the same departure point, and bus leader to do so! We cannot and will not make any changes!

Sponsor a friend!  In phase 1, you can sponsor a friend in Phase 2. Once registered, Simply login into your profile and select the first option under the "My Friends" Icon. From there you can add your friends information. They will receive a Phase 2 invitation to register a week later.

Did you receive a confirmation email after registering? MAKE sure you receive a confirmation that your transaction went through. IF you don't receive a notice or email, your registration is NOT COMPLETE. Be sure to complete all steps of registration! When registration is complete you will receive 2 confirmation emails, one from DEB international, one from DEB Dallas. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE THESE EMAILS, YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED.

Can't go this year? Don't miss out on a P1 in 2018 because you cannot go this year.  You have 2 choices: 1) register as an absentee member during registration. Pay your membership fee only, and then you will automatically be placed on the P1 list next year. 2) Register and sell your tickets to friends. You will still retain the membership, but you can send a friend in your place!
